Cooking Steps

  • Clean the pork ribs and chop them into small pieces. Put the ribs into cold water, adding ginger slices and a little cooking wine to blanch them. Take out the pork ribs and drain the water;
  • Pour a little oil into a stainless steel pressure cooker, adding rock sugar, and melt the sugar on low heat until it turns jujube red;
  • Add the ribs and quickly stir-fry until evenly colored, and then add green onion, ginger slices, garlic, star anise, bay leaves, and stir-fry evenly;
  • Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and cooking wine in order, and stir-fry to coat the ribs evenly with the seasonings, then pour in enough boiling water to cover the ribs;

Cooking Steps

  • Clean the beef and chop them into small pieces. Put the beef into cold water, adding ginger slices and a little cooking wine to blanch them. Take out the beef and drain the water;
  • Peel the potatoes and carrots dice them into pieces, and shred the onion;

  • Peel and cut lotus root;
  • Put the ribs and lotus root in the stainless steel pressure cooker;

Corn, Carrot and Chicken Soup

Ingredients Required

Chicken (choose the whole chicken or chicken legs, chicken wings and other parts)/Carrot/Corn/Mushroom/Green onion and ginger/Cooking wine/Salt/Pepper/Water.

Cooking Steps

  • Clean the chicken and cut it into sized pieces appropriately. If you use a whole chicken, you can cut it into several large pieces to easily put it in a pressure cooker;
  • Peel the carrots and cut them into hob pieces, cutting the corn into small sections. Clean the mushrooms, and crave out a cross at the top;
  • Clean the green onion and ginger, slice the ginger, and cut the green onion into sections;
  • Put the chopped chicken pieces into the pot, add the right amount of water, add the ginger slices and cooking wine, boil over high heat, and skim off the froth, cook for 2-3 minutes, take out the chicken pieces and drain the water;
  • Put the blanched chicken pieces into a pressure cooker, add the carrot pieces, corn segments, mushrooms, green onion segments and the right amount of water. The amount of water should be adjusted according to the amount of chicken and other ingredients, and pour in enough boiling water to cover the ingredients;
  • Cover the lid of the pressure cooker and cook on high heat until steam comes up, then turn down the heat and continue to cook for about 15-20 minutes. The exact time can be adjusted according to the tenderness of the chicken and personal taste;

Cooking Steps

  • Clean the beef and cut it into large pieces. If the beef is tough, soak it in water for a while to remove the blood which can make the meat more tender;
  • Peel the white radish and cut it into hob pieces;
  • Clean the green onion and ginger, slice the ginger, and cut the green onion into sections;
  • Put the chopped beef pieces into the pot, add the right amount of water, add the ginger slices and cooking wine, boil over high heat and skim off the froth, cook for 3-5 minutes, take out the beef pieces, rinse them clean with clean water and drain the water;
  • Pour a little oil into the pressure cooker. When the oil is hot, add ginger slices, onions section, star anise, cinnamon and stir-fry;

  • Melt the butter in a stainless steel pressure cooker over low heat and add the chopped onion and stir;
  • Add pumpkin cubes and evenly stir-fry;

Fresh prawns/Squid/Clams/Onions/Tomatoes/Rice/Olive oil/Salt/Black pepper/White wine/Ketchup

Cooking Steps

  • Shell and devein fresh shrimp, clean and cut squid into rings, wash clams;
  • Mince the onion and tomatoes;
  • Pour olive oil in a stainless steel pressure cooker, add chopped onion and stir-fry;
  • Add chopped tomatoes and stir fry well;
  • Add fresh shrimp, squid and clams and stir-fry for a few seconds;

Cooking Steps

  • Choose fresh potatoes, wash and peel, cut them into evenly sized pieces. This will ensure that the potatoes will heat evenly and cook quickly in the pressure cooker;
  • Mince the garlic and set aside;
  • Put the chopped potato pieces into the pressure cooker and add the right amount of water, making sure that the water can cover the potatoes;
  • Cover the pressure cooker with a lid and cook on high heat until it steams up, then turn down the heat and continue to cook for about 5-7 minutes. Adjust the time according to the size and number of potatoes. When the potatoes become soft and can be easily inserted with chopsticks, the potatoes are cooked;
  • After natural deflation, open the lid of the pressure cooker and fish out the cooked potato pieces into a large bowl;
  • Press the potato pieces into fine mashed potatoes with a spoon or a masher. Try to press it as finely as possible for a better texture;
  • Add a good amount of butter to the mashed potatoes. The butter will add a rich creamy flavour to the mashed potatoes;
  • Pour in the milk and light cream and mix well. The ratio of milk and light cream can be adjusted according to personal taste. If you like a heavier milky flavour, you can add more light cream;
  • Add an appropriate amount of salt and black pepper to taste, and then add minced garlic to add flavour;
  • If the texture of the mashed potatoes is too thick, add some milk or light cream and continue to mix well until it reaches your desired consistency;
  • If you prefer a more delicate texture, you can sift the mashed potatoes, which will remove some small particles and make the mashed potatoes smoother.
